Myeongdong is probably the Seoul area that Taiwanese people are most familiar with. You can go shopping for cosmetics, try spicy fried rice cakes, or visit duty-free shops—all within one street. For those visiting South Korea for the first time to undergo cosmetic procedures, Myeongdong is truly the most convenient choice: almost all clinics offer Chinese-speaking services, so communication is completely barrier-free. Moreover, after the treatment, you can simply head downstairs to shop, which is extremely convenient.
Representative clinics in Myeongdong: LIJIN Dermatology is open round the year until 10 p.m., making it extremely convenient for tourists with tight schedules. The prices are 30-50% lower than those in Gangnam, but this doesn’t mean that the quality of service is inferior; it’s just that the clinics have different target audiences.
