Last winter, I went to Busan with my best friend. While shopping in Seomyeon, we came across a very unique building—the entire exterior was painted in black and yellow, and the large “B” logo on the top was particularly noticeable. At first, I thought it was some newly opened coffee shop, but upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a Dermatology clinic called 바로그의원 (Barog). My friend said she had seen reviews about this clinic before and decided to make an appointment during our two-day stay in Busan. I found it to be quite good, so I decided to share my experience here for anyone who might be interested.
1. Busan Barog Dermatology is just a 5-minute walk from Seomyeon Station. After having fun and shopping, you can take the opportunity to take care of your skin.
Let’s start with the location. The Baglog Clinic’s Seomyeon branch is located at No. 9, 691 Jungang-daero, Busan urban area, just about a five-minute walk from Exit 7 of the Seomyeon subway station. If you exit from Exit 7 and walk along Jungang-daero, you will be able to see the building with its black-and-yellow exterior from a distance – it’s very easy to find, so there’s no need to use a map for navigation.

I think this location is really well chosen. Seomyeon is already one of the busiest shopping areas in Busan, with numerous shopping centers, restaurants, and cafes in the vicinity. You can go for some skin treatments in the morning and then go shopping and dining in the afternoon – it’s absolutely no waste of time. I also asked the receptionist, and they said that many local South Korean college students and office workers come here during their lunch breaks or after work on weekdays, so the reservation volume is quite high. It’s best to make a reservation a few days in advance on weekends; going there on the day itself might result in waiting.
II. Only upon entering did I realize that the lobby of Busan Barog Dermatology was actually much larger than I had sang sang.

To be honest, from the outside, it looks like just an ordinary small clinic, but once you step inside, you’re quite surprised. The reception area on the first floor has excellent natural lighting – all the floor-to-ceiling glass windows allow the natural light from the surrounding commercial district to enter directly. The floor is covered with white marble, and the reception counter is made of the same material, giving the whole space a clean and modern feel.

The waiting area is on the second floor, and there is a row of iconic bright yellow sofas that make it easy to remember this brand. Consistent with the visual style on their official website, sitting there waiting doesn’t create that dull, medical atmosphere. I waited for about twenty minutes, during which a staff member came over and gave me a questionnaire to fill out regarding my skin condition and the treatments I wanted to inquire about today. This way, when I went in for the consultation, the director could provide more targeted advice.
III. Next to the reception desk at Busan Barog Dermatology is the nursing station, and their efficiency is quite high.

One of my favorite features of the Barog Seomyeon branch is its spatial layout and flow design. The reception area, waiting area, consultation room, and treatment room are all distributed across the second and third floors, yet the entire process remains very streamlined. There’s no need to run back and forth between different floors; from making an appointment to finishing the treatment, you basically follow the same path throughout. Especially the corridor leading to the treatment room – with its glass sliding doors and ceiling lights, it provides good privacy, so you don’t have to worry about being seen by others while receiving your treatment.

IV. Dr. Park Seong-gyu, Director of the Barog Dermatology Clinic in Busan, who graduated from the Dermatology department of Seoul National University, enjoys an excellent reputation among local residents.

The director of the Barog Seomyeon branch is Park Seong-gyu. He graduated with honors from Seoul National University and worked in a hospital in Seoul for several years before returning to Busan to open this clinic. I carefully reviewed his background: he holds the Resilience Expert Member certification from Galderma in South Korea, as well as certification as a specialist in Botox and Bayer Saine – these are quite important brand recognitions in the field of Filler injections in South Korea, and not every doctor can obtain them.
During the in-person consultation, the director was very straightforward and didn’t immediately recommend a bunch of treatments for me. When I mentioned that I had slight nasolabial folds, he took a look and said that the amount of tissue needed was minimal, so a light filling would be sufficient; there was no need for additional procedures. This approach of “just enough to achieve the desired result” made me feel very at ease, unlike some places where they would start listing various issues and suggesting more treatments during the conversation.
Another aspect that I find very impressive is their “director-led consultation system” – where the director personally oversees the entire process, rather than having assistants perform the consultations or nurses handle the procedures. It is the director who conducts the face-to-face consultation with you, who administers the injections, and who checks on your recovery before you leave the clinic. This whole process provides a sense of security.
V. Reference prices for Filler injections and Virtue RF treatments at Busan Barog Dermatology in 2026
For many people, the most important concern is the price. Here, I have compiled the general market conditions as understood at that time (listed in Korean won for reference only; the actual price shall be subject to the quotation provided upon on-site consultation):
| Project | Reference price in 2026 (Korean won) | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| Filler injection (Yiwan) | Approximately 300,000 cases | An entry-level option with a natural look |
| Filler injection (Rhytidectomy) | Approximately 500,000 to 800,000 | Mid-to-high-end range, with good liquidity |
| Juvelook DongAn Center Introduction | Approximately 400,000 to 600,000 | Stimulates collagen for long-lasting effects |
| Virtue RF Potenza | Approximately 600,000 to 1 million | Combination of Pores Treatment and Skin Tightening |
| Korean version of Shurink Lifting Procedure | Approximately 1.5 million to 2.5 million | Full face; partial areas can be treated separately |
| Botulinum toxin (Nabota/Meditoxin) | Approximately 150,000 to 350,000 | Viewing area calculation |
💡 Exchange rate reference: Approximately 10,000 South Korean won = 55 Hong Kong dollars or 50 Chinese yuan (please refer to the real-time exchange rate on the day of transaction).
If you wish to undergo multiple treatments at the same time, you can discuss the package options with the director on-site. They are quite flexible and can adjust the combination according to your budget. Especially for travelers with tight itineraries, they offer a “one-time management” package that eliminates the need for multiple treatment sessions. After the treatment and the necessary post-treatment care on the same day, you can continue with your travel plans.
VI. Several things to note before making an appointment at Busan Barog Dermatology
Here are some tips to help those planning to embark on this journey prepare in advance:
- Closed on Sundays: Open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays, and from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays. Remember not to choose Sunday if you plan to visit.
- Note during lunchtime: On weekdays, from 13:00 to 14:00 is lunchtime. During this period, no one may answer the phone, and consultations will not be accepted.
- Language communication: The front desk is staffed with personnel who can speak Chinese, so communication is generally not an issue. However, for more complex project plans, it is recommended to clarify your requirements in writing via online channels such as LINE or Gmail in advance, which will make things go more smoothly when you arrive at the location.
- It is not recommended to apply heavy makeup on the day after Filler injection: If you have other plans for that day, it is advisable to perform skincare treatments first.
- After using Shurink, the face may become slightly red and swollen; it is recommended to schedule the treatment on the day before the end of your trip, giving yourself a day to recover.

VIII. Want to confirm the treatment plan in advance? You can choose from three methods.
If you want to arrange your appointments and consultations in advance before setting off, I recommend submitting your inquiries through the following channels. Meiderma provides Chinese-speaking customer service who can help you coordinate the time and specific services with the clinic, thus avoiding any language barriers and allowing you to proceed directly upon arrival.
In addition, on the BeautsGO platform, it is possible to compare the prices and reviews of multiple Dermatology clinics in Busan side by side. This is particularly useful for those who are going to South Korea for medical aesthetics treatments for the first time, as it saves the time and effort of having to inquire with each clinic individually.
