Last month, I accompanied my sister to Seoul for Breast Augmentation. After coming back, she became much more confident, and even her way of dressing changed. She went to MD Plastic Surgery in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam – a specialized clinic that has been focusing solely on Breast Augmentation for over 25 years. II. How to get from South Korea’s MD Breast Surgery Hospital to Cheongdam? Walk for 5 minutes after exiting Exit 2 of Cheongdam Station.
The MD building is located at No. 814 Xuanling Road. It has 8 floors above ground (floors 3 to 8 are used for medical purposes) and 1 floor below ground. You can exit from Exit 2 of Cheongdam Station, walk straight along Xuanling Road, and after passing two intersections, you will arrive at the building – it’s very easy to find. Nearby lies Cheongdam-dong’s luxury shopping district, with brands such as Hermès and Chanel in the vicinity, making the location extremely convenient. The institution does have its own parking lot, but the number of parking spaces is limited. It is recommended to take the subway or a taxi to get there more conveniently.

He is a former chief physician in the Department of Breast Surgery at Samsung Seoul Hospital and has also completed specialized training at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the United States and the New York University Medical Center. He holds qualifications as a specialist in surgery and breast surgery, as well as a Doctor of Medicine degree. His academic achievements are also remarkable; he has served as the president of the Korean Society of Breast and Thyroid Surgery and the Korean Society of Breast Surgery Research. Most importantly, he personally conducts all consultations and performs surgeries himself, rather than merely providing consultation services while leaving the actual surgical procedures to other doctors.
The medical team also includes Director Liu Yuxiang of the Breast Examination Center (a specialist in breast surgery responsible for preoperative ultrasound evaluations) and Director Qiu Xiujing of the Anesthesiology Department (a specialist in anesthesiology and pain management responsible for ensuring safety during surgery and managing postoperative pain). This comprehensive lineup truly provides reassurance to patients.
V. What is the environment like in the MD plastic surgery department? Let’s take a look through pictures and text.
The entire MD building belongs to them, from the 3rd floor to the 8th floor. It includes operating rooms, recovery rooms, inpatient wards, and a breast examination center. My first impression upon entering was one of “cleanliness” and “quietness” — there was no overly commercial decoration; instead, it felt like stepping into a professional medical center. The waiting area is equipped with comfortable seating, and there are also dedicated consultation rooms with excellent privacy protection, so you won’t feel like anyone is listening to your conversations.
I also saw the postoperative recovery room; it is well-equipped, and there are dedicated staff to take care of the patients. Director Li also possesses two very advanced patented techniques: “Bloodless Breast Augmentation” – which involves preventive hemostasis before any bleeding occurs, resulting in minimal postoperative bruising and a shorter recovery period; and “Intercostal Nerve Block” – this technique prevents pain nerves from being activated before the surgery, significantly reducing discomfort, allowing many patients to walk around on the same day.
